The Hip Joint specializes in professional fittings from our experienced staff. Pointe shoes- Please call ahead for pointe shoe fitting appointments: 434-971-6888 Pointe shoes are handmade and, therefore, no two shoes are alike. The fit of a pointe shoe must be precise, and due to variables in shoe construction, we estimate about 30-60 minutes for first time fittings. You will receive one-on-one attention, complete instructions and a tutorial. Fitting is free with the purchase of pointe shoes, $15 without shoe purchase. The Hip Joint has a "Pointe Shoe Club"- Members shoe style, size and special needs are kept on file to assist future fittings. Every member's tenth pair of pointe shoes is FREE.
