My daughter took a kids’ Zumba class this week and loved it! Yea for exercise practices that promote fun! This reminded me of the Zumba shoes we carry in the shop. We have recently received feedback from teachers about the Apex, a new Zumba shoe by Bloch. As you might recall from an earlier post, when these shoes came in a month ago we sent out an email to all local Zumba teachers saying that we were giving a free pair to the first four teachers that walked in the door. Of course, four people showed up in less that 24 hours! Thanks everyone who responded!

“They are a comfy shoe, true to size and great for pivoting. And, they are nice looking. I like them and I think the price is decent.” – M
“Thanks again for the opportunity to try these new shoes. I have now done a couple of classes in them and must say that I REALLY like teaching in them. They have the support of a fitness shoe (remember I am a die hard Nike Musique wearer for Zumba) which is more important in my eyes than “dancability,” as it is imperative that students can successfully make it through the various fitness/dance steps utilized. The turning point of the shoe has just enough grip so that you don’t slide across a typical fitness floor, but enough ease in twisting to deter any knee injury. They are very lightweight which I really like.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you for the fantastic shoes! I have been wearing them for the past couple weeks on a couple different floor surfaces. They are great shoes. The pivot point on the sole is large and smooth and I can spin and twist with ease. It is GREAT! The rest of the sole has enough tread that I have the right amount of grip on the floor when I DON’T want to spin or twist! The shoe is comfortable and seems to have enough support. Overall it is a great shoe for Zumba or other dance fitness activities. I have been recommending the shoe to students and referring them to your store and will continue to do so. “I’ve used the shoes three times. It seems they get better w/each use. I have not mentioned my results to the ladies in the class yet because I haven’t made up my mind about them, but so far so good. I think by the end of this month I should know for sure.” Thanks again for this trial offer. – M
