So it took me a little longer than I predicted for me and my family to adjust to East Coast Time and all of our responsibility.  It took me a week to just unpack and do all of the LAUNDRY!  But speaking of laundry, what a fun treat I had waiting for me at the shop.  I picked up a small line in New York in January called FRESH LAUNDRY.  The first shipment had finally arrived!  The linen pants (Navy) must come home with me!  Actually, first they need to go to my tailor, Thuy, because rarely do pants fit my 5′ tall body.

I told you that I found this line in NYC but oddly FRESH LAUNDRY is  from Los Angeles where I just was visiting.  And I am looking forward to looking at more colors and patterns next month when I go back to buy for the Fall season!  The clothing is indeed so comfortable.

Ok.  So I should have known that the moment that I offered something free people would respond.  This week the “Apex” Zumba sneaker by Bloch also came into the shop.  We have had a growing customer base for this relatively new dance and fitness craze.  We emailed all of the Zumba teachers in town about this shoe and offered a free pair to the first four teachers that came into the shop.  Of course four people came in within hours.  The only stipulation was that they needed to report back with feedback on the shoe.  How do they feel?  Do they meet your needs?  Etc…This sneaker has a spin spot on the sole so that you can twist and turn laterally and not torque the knee.  It is relatively lightweight but is supportive and study.  The shoe is a full sole sneaker unlike all of the other dance sneakers in my shop that are spit sole.

We are still waiting on the blue version of this shoe that I also ordered.  But I am interested to hear how people like them before I order even more colors that are currently being made!

I will update you all on the feedback that we get.  (Especially if it is positive!  If it is all negative then you will probably end up seeing them on sale in the shop next season!  Ha!)
